Spend the day with successful veteran travel photojournalist Ron Stern as he shares the secrets you need to know to take great photos! Whether you have a small point-and-shoot or an expensive SLR, learn how to look for and take the best possible shots. Class begins in the classroom where you’ll learn about basic camera operations and techniques that pros use to capture great pictures. After a lunch break, the class goes on a field trip to take “on-location” photographs, while Ron helps you learn how to see creatively in order to take pictures that are sure to impress. Learn techniques such as framing with a frame, when to use fill flash, taking pictures from reflections, using manual settings for more versatility, and how to use natural lighting for dramatic effect. He’ll also share some options for low-cost methods to create a full-color, hardcover photo book of your images.
