Becoming a Real Estate Appraiser
Being a real estate appraiser allows one to set their own schedule and be their own boss while offering potential for high income. Learn what is involved and how to get started. Find out what the educational and licensing requirements set by the Colorado Board of Appraisers are. Discuss basic principles for an ethical and competent appraisal practice and learn what a typical appraiser’s day is like. Walk through the entire appraisal process, from property inspection and market analysis to preparing the report for a client. A relevant, current case study will be used to highlight the process and illustrate the problem solving and decision-making that’s involved.
Frederic Rouget is a certified residential appraiser with his own practice and has completed over 2,000 appraisals. Frederic is the only real estate appraiser recommended by the largest real estate association, the Colorado Association of Real Estate Investors.
