Policies:

Registration & Confirmation:

Bring your registration confirmation ticket/number to class. To use our membership benefits, advance registration is required.

Class Credits & Transfers:

If you cannot attend a class you must contact the registration office at least 72 hours prior to your first class meeting. With 72 hours notice we can transfer you to another available class or give you a credit voucher to use towards another class in the future (credits are good for one year from date of issue and cannot be redeemed for cash). There will be a $7 transaction fee for dropping or transferring out of the original class.

With less than 72 hours notice a credit voucher for half of the class’s tuition will be issued to your CFU account.*

*There are no credits issued for cancellations of CompuSkills Computer Training classes under 72 hours notice. Please visit the CompuSkills registration and policies page for details on free repeat policy.

Refunds & Check Fees:

Refunds are given ONLY if CFU cancels a class. Memberships are non-refundable.  If you cannot receive phone messages, always call 24 hours in advance to make sure your class is running. Tuition and fees are subject to change. A service fee of $32 will be charged for each returned check.

Inclement Weather:

CFU rarely cancels class for weather. Only if the city shuts down do we shut down. If the buses are running, we’re most likely open. Call 303-399-0093 for a “go/no go” update. If cancelled, classes will be rescheduled or vouchers for other classes will be issued.

Nondiscrimination Policy:

CFU welcomes students 17 and over of any race, color, religion, or national and ethnic origin to all CFU classes.

Special Needs / Handicap Accessibility:

CFU is committed to making its classes accessible to the disabled community. Please call 303-399-0093 to make arrangements for classroom accessibility. Also, please speak to a student services representative about any special needs you might have.

Instructors come from the community and are experts in their fields; however, they are not required to have teaching credentials. CFU strives for quality but cannot be held liable for the content taught by instructors who function as independent contractors.
