CFU goes green!
After 35 years of printing our course catalog, Colorado Free University is going fully digital. You can always browse and search for classes on the website, but we know how satisfying it is to leaf through the pages of our catalog of classes to find what what you need or to see what leaps out as new and interesting. You don’t always know what you’re looking for until you see it!
This online PDF will show all the online and in-person classes that we have scheduled for the summer and fall of 2022. Use it as the guide for your learning journey. You can download the PDF and even print it out on 8 1/2 x 11 paper if you like. If needed, the CFU office can even print one for you (black and white) and pop it in the mail. Just give us a call.
Website or PDF to view classes?
The PDF course catalog is great for browsing. Once you find a class, you can hop onto the website and find that class and register online. Or call the CFU office (303) 399-0093 ext 0 and we’ll take care of you over the phone. The PDF doesn’t have links to classes, so you won’t be able to go from the catalog listing directly into the class. Once you find a course you want, just hop back to course listings on the website. You can search for your class by going to the appropriate category, by looking for the instructor, or by using “Advanced Search” to put in the course title or a range of dates.
CFU broadens its educational reach
Since its founding as a lifelong learning center in 1987, Colorado Free University provided quality, affordable education to adults in the front range. Classes were in person and our catalog reached people across the metro area. Since spring of 2020, we have shifted our educational model to include online as well as in-person classes. Given that people can take classes from anywhere in the country, it makes sense that we present our classes on the website. Our dear old paper catalog that we mailed out and put in publication boxes around town was ready for retirement.

Word of mouth is the best way for folks to find CFU classes. Please consider signing up for our biweekly Constant Contact emails so you can stay abreast of upcoming classes. Send the link for the PDF catalog to friends near and far so that they can take advantage of this learning resource as well.
