We’ve Got Your Ticket to a Fun Halloween Event!

catmoonGrab a friend and hit the town for one of our fun Halloween events! Designed especially for adults, these classes and tours take a grown-up look at ghosts, ghouls, spooky stories, local mysteries and more. Here’s a few not-to-be-missed highlights:

October 16: Storytelling for All Occasions  Every October, tales get a bit spookier in instructor Bill Smith’s great workshop on honing speaking skills that will engage your audience.

October 17 or 29:  Zombie Mania!: The Undead & Their Kin in the Visual Arts. Zombies have taken over everything in the arts and media from Jane Austen to insurance commercials. Join screenwriting instructor and lover of all things undead Michael Pomphrey for a a really fun survey of zombies and their popular presence  in the visual arts.

October 30:  Ghost Hunting 101: Search for the Paranormal. Take a scientific look at the case for ghosts—could it be possible? Hosted by local author and paranormal researcher, Jeff Danalek.

Phil GoodsteinVarious dates through Halloween: Phil Goodstein’s Ghost Walk on Capitol Hill. Local historian Phil Goodstein is a Denver treasure. If you’ve never taken one of his walking tours of Denver, this is your chance to head out into the night on Capitol Hill and hear all manor of spooky and nefarious tales about the former residents of the Queen City on the Plains. History buffs or new residents, these tours are not to be missed!
