Take a Workshop with John Fielder: Colorado’s Premier Nature Photographer

If you aspire to be a better photographer yourself, this is your chance. This is your chance to spend time with John Fielder in an intimate workshop setting. Colorado Free University is lucky to have John join us for two workshops on November 4.

From 2:00 to 3:15PM he presents the all-new “A Colorado Winter:  A Multimedia Presentation“. Enjoy a slide show of John’s best winter photos set to inspiring music, hear the stories behind the shots, and learn from one of Colorado’s most passionate citizens.  From 4:00 to 6:00PM John offers his “Photography Slide Show & Workshop” where he shares information and tips that you can use to enhance your own travel and nature photography. He focuses on lighting, design, capturing the shot, and post-processing programs, such as Lightroom.

John Fielder has worked tirelessly to promote the protection of Colorado’s ranches, open space, and wild lands during his 34-year career as a nature photographer and publisher. His photography has influenced people and legislation, earning him recognition including the Sierra Club’s Ansel Adams Award in 1993 and, in 2011, the Aldo Leopold Foundation’s first achievement award given to an individual. Following his presentation and workshop, John will sell and sign all of his popular Colorado books.
